Constructability Reviews

There is no such thing as a perfect plan document. However, through strategic and tactful working sessions, we review and communicate intentional strategies to improve coordination, details, coordination, scope and material selections and other design aspects so that design risks are significantly minimized or even eliminated. During our reviews of the design at various agreed stages, we apply our experience to look for, identify, and recommend correction to:

• Coordination issues (most commonly structural and systematic issues)
• Insufficient details
• Scope and value decisions
• Incomplete and/or missing schedules (finishes, equipment call outs, etc.)
• Alternative structural systems (minimizing costly hybrid systems)
• Design and scope not in conformance with owner goals and programming
• Alternative means and methods
• We offer optional software methods to provide interactive plan document comments in order to assist design professionals and clients with conforming plan documents ultimately improving the performance of the plans and specifications making up the work.
